Diana de Melo Rego

......Born in Porto, Portugal where she concluded her college studies, in the area of natural sciences and also a degree in performing arts, in the University of Music and performing arts and receive a scholarship for the University of England where she made a six months professional course of dance research and choreography.

......After that she started her degree in dance in the University of Dance of Bahia, Brazil.

......She also studied five years of classic ballet ,obtaining the 4th grade by the Royal Academy, Three years of caper (Afro Brazilian dance / game /fight), and three years of oriental dance with Prisca Diedrish.

......After she took several workshops with different teachers to develop different kinds of dance, she also traveled to Morocco, Turkey, Israel and Spain to go deeper in to the ethnic culture.

......She also took several workshops of traditional African dance and after that went three months to Africa (Guinea and Senegal) to study directly with the natives.

......She traveled to Cuba to study traditional Afro-Cuban dance

......She was also part of the troupe "Agway" of oriental dancers ,that performed in TV ,and many places all around Portugal, another troupe was "Segmented" of traditional African dance and music also performed in several places.

......She is part of "Terrae Ignota Gharana” world music group, as the main dancer that already toured around Spain, Portugal and Mexico.

.....At present she is studying traditional dance in northern India.
