Jaume Cata Llado

......Born in 1972 in Argentona (Barcelona), at early age he started playing precussion with the kitchen utensils of his mother. When he was 15 years old he began to play with a rock band well known in the area of Barcelona.

......In 1993 he made his first recording "When the guitar cries" with "RUN" and toured in Spain, France and Switzerland, at the same time he started to play with several artist in Barcelona as a performer and studio musician in different areas such as theater and street performance.

......In 1994 he joined "ART INCUBE" an experimental art group, with a poet and?some actors where he made original music for the performances.

......In 1999 he met a folk-singer from New York and start playing in north Spain for one year and recorded the CD "PAUL FUSTER". The following year they went to play in USA, New York and Maine, and recorded the next work "BATTLESHIP"

......At that time he also record another CD with the Spanish singer Enrique Hernaez, and started traveling around the world with the renowned theater company "COMEDIANTS".

......After that he decided to go to India to learn tabla with Guruji SHIAM KUMAR MISHRA one of the most famous tabla players of Benares Gharana. Then for one year he went to Japan where he worked playing percussion and flamenco in a thematic park "Parque Espana".

......He has been giving particular classes of percussion and drum set for 10 years, and joining jams sessions with different musicians around the world in Israel, India, Japan, China, Nepal, Morocco, Europe, and USA.

......In his last trip to India he met musicians from Mexico, Portugal, and USA which later on created the group "TERRAE IGNOTA GHARANA". The group then went to perform in Spain and recorded a CD. Following that the group was invited to perform for Fringe 2003 in Macau.
