......He was born in March, 29th, 1980 in Mataro, city of Barcelona. He started his music studies while he was studying in the basic school.
......This first approach to music was with classic guitar, then with modern and electric, which was taught by Jordi Nogueras, from whom he learned different styles like: blues, rock, funk, fusion and jazz.Since that early time, he created a musical group, called ” Looking Around” where he played guitar and was the main singer, they played some covers as well as their own compositions. With this group, he made his first tour through Spain.
......Later on he concluded a degree in Arts and at the same time, he started studying at “Aula de Musica Moderna de Badalona” then he continued his studies in the Music School of Barcelona where he focused in Musical Theory, Composition and Harmony, by then he felt that it was time to start performing alone or sometimes exploring his themes with some fellow musicians.
......Other kinds of art like dance, street theatre and traditional music were part of his work and experiments.In the year 2003, he travelled to India to do some deeper research in traditional music specializing on the sitar. He was taught by Govinda Gosuami from Benares in North India.It was there that he met other musicians from several parts of the world that were also studying there and this was the beginning of the world music project:” Terrae Ignota Gharana”.
......In 2004, this group recorded the first CD and composed also a piece for the “Forum de las Culturas” in Barcelona.Terrae Ignota toured in Spain, Portugal, Macau and Mexico, the result of these presentations was their second CD and a DVD called ”Live in Porto”...
......He also performed and recorded with other groups, that played different styles like folk, medieval and other kinds of music, among them was:“Els Trobadors”, the pioneer group in Spain, researching medieval music, “Relk”, electro Mediterranean music, “De Alla”, jazz folk, “Oscar Vaughan”, American folk, “Talking Tara”, etnic fusion and “Pere Perallada”, pop. In 2005, he travelled to Egypt and Turkey where he developed his technique, mainly with the Ud (Arabian lute) and also with the Saz.
......In 2006, he went to Cuba to improve his rhythmic qualities (Afro Cuban percussion) with the shekere master Pancho Terry.
......In the same year he went to Portugal to compose a piece with the dancer, Diana Rego. He collaborated with other artists, among them were some poets and they performed in several theatres around Portugal.
